Jonah 1:1-3 NIV The word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amittai: ² “Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.”³ But Jonah ran away from the Lord and headed for Tarshish.

Disobedience is not doing what God has told you.  Some may think they can just ignore the voice of God, relocate or change their careers.   God is all knowing and all powerful.  God will do whatever is necessary to get your attention, so that his will may be done.

In the bible is a story about Jonah who disobeyed God, and thought he would go in a different direction then God told him.  Jonah was in the belly of a large fish for three days and three nights.  It was in the belly of the fish that Jonah communed with God, and decided to obey God.

Change your direction, if you are not going in the direction that God has told you to go.
