1Corinthians 9:24-25 NIV ²⁴ Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. ²⁵ Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever 1Corinthians 9:24-25 NIV.

In an Olympic race athletes must meet certain qualifications to compete in the race.  Those who see the runner in the race may not be aware of all they had to endure daily to prepare them for race.  At the end of the race only one person will receive the highest prize which is the gold medal.

In the Spiritual race the qualification is to receive salvation or be born again. The Spiritual race has also daily training which includes: prayer, praise, and studying God’s word. In the spiritual race there is not just one person who will receive the prize.  Everyone who has been qualified will receive the prize of eternal life.  As you are running in your own pace, stay in the race.
